Yesterday, I received my goodies in the mail. It really felt like I was waiting for ever!! But I'm so happy!

1. Moistfull Massage Mask 3 in 1

I can use this as just a quickie to massage into my skin, or a 15 min pack, or an overnight mask. It smells AMAAAZING ~

I haven't used it yet but can you tell I love peaches? lol

I also received little samples of more masks, and this wrinkle prevention, but I gave them to my mom (I swear not an insult! Haha!)

Tomorrow, I'm going in to the job site, just to talk of my interest in this receptionist position in the salon. It's much better pay, and one of the girl's promised a good word in for me and that she'd rather work with someone she knew than some outsider she might possibly hate. Oh the love ~ ;)

I'm totally wanting to get some new experience in, and this is my opportunity to try and get it. I really don't want to be under a manager that wears a frown 24/7 until the GM rolls around. That's so fake, ugh. I'm always pretty genuine about MY smile. :p

The extra $$$ would def come in handy for school.

I've had an eventful week -- more like stressed ooout, but that's life sneaking up your butt :P

Monday I took my car in to get the back piping an exhaust fully replaced ($275) and then when I went to visit Lee, as soon as I hit I-495 my brake sign came on. Mind you, this was Thursday morning. I drove up the rest of the way and took it took a shop I had gone to before. I was running on no brake fluid!! Gosh. So I had a rusty, leaky brake line ($150) I really hope that's all my car needs right now.

I should invest in a Vespa. LOL

But I had the BEST buy ever this weeeeek!
A shoe I had been looking at foreveeer is finally now mine!

I wasn't ever looking at a specific brand (though I'm a fan of Steve Madden --- plz make wide fitting shoes!) and I was afraid they would run narrow, but no! I'm so pleased!! I should go back and get the pink, haha.

The same day, since I was in Frederick, we went to Lucky Corner. Haven't been there in ages! I wanted me some Pho and Thai Tea so baaad. So I got it. We don't have many good eateries like that around here. All we have is mexican and your steakhouses and chinese take out. Bleh.

And today! I finished my father's birthday cake.
For being a first timer I think I got this in the bag, ahaha.

Made slightly bigger for the detail (roses).
The only think I didn't make homemade was the cake mix. I put enough money into the rest of the sugary goodness. My piping is horrible!!

Well, I plan to get lots of practice in.
I already got an offer from a co-worker, that she would like me to do cupcakes for her baby shower in November. It's so exciting!

I was thinking of making a separate pastry blog, following my experiences.

I really do shun myself for never keeping an up to date blog. It SO has to change one day.

Where I left off...

Wonder Girls & 2PM was such a wonderful concert! Probably one of those most organized concerts I've been to.And it really helped it was assigned seating. We were up pretty close, but the sad part was we were on the side --- the waaaaay side (like the end). So when most of the front crowded up, we took the chance to do so ourselves for a better view.

I honestly believe more people were there for 2PM and I was a bit appalled by over half the room calling for the group when they should have been calling for WG at the time of encore! Oh Americans ~

And I'm going to be seeing Adam Lambert August 26th as well! All my mom's doing. She is obsessed with him, and I just love him. She jumped around like a kid on my bed when she told me she ordered the tickets. That a 2 day vacation in Roanoke, Va!

I lost more LBS (but gained 5 back)! Still, enough -- even from not being on Wii Fit in awhile. I'm a happy girl. But I'm definitely going to get back on it today. I've missed doing yoga. I still have a long way to go, to be in much better shape.

I guess you remember I work at JCP -- well let me tell you, being a sales associate totally has it's advantages there! Yesterday, all of the 80% off items, my manager had me mark down to $1.97!!! So needless to say I was shopping while working; throwing things aside to put in my own little pile. LOL If there's anything left by pay day (Friday) I'll try to find a few more items.

But here's (some of) my loot --

I have an outfit idea for the dress; later I plan on getting the gray stockings that are clearance as well. Then I just need to find some dark gray pumps and a bright pink cardigan. Interesting outfit, yes? Haha.
What wasn't shown was a lilac colored hoodie as well a hot pink. And then I bought 2 shirts for Lee.

Haven't been doing much of dressing up lately; I've been a bum around the house when not at work. Lazy lazy me.
But I'm hoping to sign up for a pastry class in August or September at Micheal's. I'm going to apply to BIC for next year. FAFSA didn't accept me this year due to the income from my parents. By next year I should be considered an independent. Crossing my fingers. Trying to decided whether I want to go Culinary or Pastry & Baking, so in my spare time of saving some pennies, I thought I'd take a class. Hands on experience, I think so!

Okay now I'm just rambling ~

It's been forever and a day since I last posted. It seems like A LOT has been going on this past month. And most of it not so good. A couple of those things are family disclosure only. But to start, my car was going to cost so much to get fixed by this one place; but my uncle had someone who would do it only for $250!! So I got it fixed, but in the result of being there I dropped a pot lid on my toe. I got it drained at urgent care when it got worse and it seemed to be getting okay.

Sigh.

Needless to say, I've been on bed rest the past few days with my foot up on pillows. So, it got worse in other words. I thought I was getting strep, but then going to the ER, found out that I got cellultis, which is a skin infection, and I got a serious case of it; so I'm glad I went when I did.

And Wonder Girls is this FRIDAY! I hope all these antibiotics that have been put in me are working fast. I'm trying to rest as much as possible; going back to work Tuesday.
Not what I thought Memorial Day weekend would be like.
And I dread the hospital bill.

I need a good idea on what I should wear when I get in the concert venue. I was looking at a pair of wedges, so my toe isn't squished and I can step on people's toes instead of vice versa. Lol

I guess I'll be cutting back on things after the concert; trying to work as much as possible, helping out with groceries, etc. And I've been trying to go au naturel, so don't have to be as much make up or anything. I want to keep it light and fresh.

It's such a great movie, especially if you love british humor. =]

Wishing my life was a little more eventful with the hobbies I'm interested in...

Pleased to say I'll be seeing 2AM & Wonder Girls in concert (D.C.) !!
I've been so excited to the point I had a dream about it last night.

Anyway! These past few days the parents and I have been getting our garden stuff all put together. There are now plants in the upside down trough and the snow peas and green beans have been planted. =]
Lee came Monday about when I got off work, and as soon as I got home and changed, we went out to the beach. We picked ALOT of shells and I grabbed some crazy looking driftwood. Lee even found a horseshoe crab outer shell. I'm hoping to have an art project started soon. I tried Soba noodles for the first time and they were really good! I might start dieting with them. I read in a blog that a girl's mother ate them for every meal, every day and lost 15 lbs in a month. Doing that would make me so sick! So I decided, I'd have it for breakfast with a fruit -- when at work, I'll munch on some veggies and then have a regular dinner.

Speaking of dinner -- I made the past 2 nights' and they came out delicious!

I made a homemade ginger-lime marinated chicken (grilled), sauteed baby bok choy and onions, broiled cherry tomatoes, and basmati rice.

I didn't take any pictures tonight, but I ended making my OWN special secret marinade for pork chops (or steak) and my dad really liked it! I now have something of my own to pass down one day. =D

My days are a little everywhere, haha. So ..I believe it was Sunday...I took a baby rabbit in, because the neighbor's cat put it into shock, not to mention ribbed a nice chunk of fur off of it. I was going to try to call some sort of wildlife control, but the one place I did find was closed on weekends. Typical government run. Luckily, he started hopping around, so I assumed it was out of shock at that point and took it out behind the house, hopefully where that cat wouldn't find him. I guess it managed, because I went back and it was gone!

I called him Bunny.
Lol.

Ah, and this was yesterday. I went out to get an eye exam (contacts soon! excited ;3 ) and run some errands for my mom. The ensemble I wore reminded me of the Run Devil Run MV by SNSD.

Really want to start doing more exciting things! Usually costs money though. What a hassle. Lol.
Speaking of money, going in Friday to the shop to fix an oil leak and get it changed. Oh yay ~

Just a quick update, seeing as I really really needed one.

The week before last was Lee's 24th birthday and since I couldn't see her, I made a cake for the following Tuesday (this past). It was so good! It was the first time making a cake from scratch and the only problem was that it came out a little dry.

2 (It came out perfect, no crumbs from removing! :D)

The sad thing is gained weight from that day. Now I have to work it off again. Haha.

So I swore I wasn't going to have cake on my birthday. Or else I'll never drop the pounds!

I don't have much else to post for, except, is anybody getting the https:// (w/ a strikethrough) on their links lately!?!? And it's all red. I'm not sure, I've been seeing a lot of revokes and random stuff. Is it renewing certification season for websites or something??

So, some of you may have realized this is a totally new account. I was constantly getting confused by the whole Gmail thing. I opted for getting an actual account (my other e-mail was just absolutely nothing but random spam anyway) so it would be less of a mess. I was sad I couldn't keep my url name, but what can you do?

Starting a new job hasn't been too horrible. Actually it seems rather promising. I've been catching on quick and it helps I've had previous experience. I had many compliments on my hair today, but I never took a picture of it. I had taken a picture the other day; something really simple;

The only difference I did today was a strand of braids on each side and pinned in place of the headband. I like the style a lot! I'll have to take a picture next time I do it.

Aaaah, so Sunday I had off and there's been some talk about how my room will be redone. Really going for a soft nautical theme. My love for nautical stuff has just been expanding! And! It's so convenient living next to some beaches. So I went to the beach and started collecting shells in soft pastel-like colors, found some really twisted up driftwood and a dried baby crab (poor thing). Went to Big Lots yesterday and I found this sort of net with shells attached. So I'm going to take that concept and turn it into my own; all I'll need is some twine-like stuff or very thin rope and borrow my dad's drill to make holes in the shells and wala~! Decor! I'd LOVE to find some starfish. Chances are I'll be doing some paintings as well.

While I was at the beach, I found out lady bugs are taking over.

There were so many! Haha.

I also went with some friends and saw Alice in Wonderland that night. I'd have to say it was good, but being made by Tim Burton, I expected a little more. Like Mozart; too many notes! It's not always a bad thing. I want more notes, darn it!

A Kohl's also opened near me recently! Granted, I'm not such a big fan of theirs, I do like Vera Wang and also...coupons. Haha. So I found this eyeshadow, which I thought would have been bigger, but they just made the box big. Go figure, right? It's by Eyestudio (I believe Maybeline) and so far, it's not so bad. It's good for if I want to add a little color now and then. Usually I'll just wear a brown shade of some sort; something light.

Lastly, I must leave you with a link that holds 2 at home spa treatments for cellulite. Because I love looking for at home remedies. And I'm going to try the 2nd one and come back with a review for it next time I post!
